Subject: Silly Scum list, would like some input

So I've had the idea for this list in my head since Guidance Chips was released, and I'm looking at using it this week for a laugh.
Anyway, the silliness.
[Z-95 Headhunter] Binayre Pirate w/ Concussion Missiles, Guidance Chips (16) x4
[Jumpmaster 5000] Contracted Scout w/ Plasma Torps, Extra Munitions, Guidance Chips, Deadeye, R4 Agro, Rec. Spec (36)
Basic idea is pretty simple, but I'm not sure how well it'll do in practice, hence me posting and asking for input from you folks. Should be fun if nothing else...

The obvious problem is that you're playing an alpha strike list, but most of your alpha strike is at PS 1. That will make it very difficult to get the target locks you need to fire those missiles, and makes your z-95s vulnerable to being killed at higher PS before they can shoot. Missile z-95s are a decent, but not amazing, plan when they're rebel z-95s at PS 4. This list just takes the standard u-boat list and replaces 2/3 of your firepower with an inferior version of rebel missile spam.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |

alternatively, you could choose to run them as Rebels, and add in Lieutenant Blount with thread tracer missiles. Give Blount Deadeye, and that should ensure that each of your concussion missile z-95 Pilots have focus and Target lock.
I've tried this as a full concussion missile swarm before on vassal. Didn't work too well against arc dodgers. I think that concussions will greatly help with getting range 3.
One last thing is that this IS just an alpha-strike. Once the thread tracer target dies, you're back to the old-fashioned target locking.

Thread tracers require a focus, so deadeye is a waste. I didn't understand your last sentence about concussion missiles.
I've been so underwhelmed at the staying power of the z-95 that I've been loathe to even try N'Dru, much less a ps 1-4 pilot. I know this was talked about widely prior to the release of Gchips but I have yet to see anyone fly it. I think the Larger hull of the contract scout coupled with r4 reroll ability outshines the smallerz95 platform. Frankly, even with all those modifications, I still rarely get all 4 shots to hit from a uboat and frequently have opponents block 3 of the shots, which makes me question the value sometimes

After my tournament this weekend, the only list that gave my Triple U-boat list trouble was 6 Zs with Chimps and Concussion Missiles.
