This is supposed to be a "take all comers" sort of list, with some failsafes built in, as well as a general approach to the kinds of lists in the local meta here. That being said, here's a few general points I'm looking at.

The Cataphractii captain with primarch's wrath goes with the heavy bolter devastators in the pod for lots of AP4 shooting on the drop. The pod is not a dedicated transport so I can use it other ways if needed.

The Librarius Conclave goes with the chainfist-wielding terminators. They roll for electrodisplacement on the Fulmination discipline and try to slingshot into combat or particularly bust open transports turn 1 if against something like battle company; ideally, replacing the lascannon devastator combat squad that come out of the pod from the skyhammer annihilation force. If they don't roll this power, they can deep strike onto the Captain's position later thanks to his teleport homer.

They red hunter devs are my anti-air thanks to their CTs.

I'd like to work in the Bones of Osrak on the conclave, but not too sure if I'll need it or should drop some little things like the combi-grav, cherub from the lascannon/grav squad... etc.

Thoughts?

Unhealthy Competition With Other Legions

never mix guns with devs, i say drop the cherub and the combi gravs and all the upgrades on the assualt marines (cause they are bad) max out the grav with your devs and give them ultramarine chapter tactics that way you can use the dev doctrine, i would recommmend force axes because they are good and you need the ap2 instant death, id say have a split of LC and CF. take an allied detachment instead of a CAD for more points. if you want... have a look at some formations for the SM im sure that there is one with termies and termi captain

other than that your list is a but too reliant for me but it could go pretty well.

I love the eviscerator model but it is such a waste. If you are dead set on it, drop the fist on the sergeant and take a melta bomb, drop them being vet sergeants. Hidden Eviscerators are awesome. I would drop the second grav and lascannons in favor of multimeltas. Take all those points and max the other assault squad and a second eviscerator. Force axes are so much better than swords and staves.

Just my opinions if you want to keep the eviscerators.

Thanks for the replies. Just to clarify, the mixed dev squad combat squads so that the lascannons are in one unit (switching places with termies via electrodisplacement) and the other has the grav for a bit of punch, rather than just bolters to pin - figured might as well actually do some wounds too lol.

The force axes are a nice idea, I'll have to try them out, although admittedly I have had good success with the S6 staves striking at initiative. I'll give the axes a shot though and see!
I can't take the Captain as my warlord though in an Allied detachment, so I'm not sure that would work... I couldn't really find any formations other than the really large ones like the first company task force to fit in :(

I'm sort of surprised at the assault marine comments, seeing as I've had pretty good success with them fully decked out... every time I try to run them bare-bones, they aren't really taking advantage of being part of the skyhammer formation... re-rolling against some pinned units is really really good when you're bringing 5 S8 AP2 attacks into play from a 5-man squad... but if I did cut them down to min squads, what would you recommend spending the points on?
