So I pretty much only want to do this so I can take exodus in a unit of Mor Deythans but I need to know two things. Is this legal? And should I make the tactical squads alpha legion?

FOC: Age of Darkness

HQ:
- Raven Guard Praetor - Jump Pack, Iron Halo, Paragon Blade - 170
- Exodus - 115

Troops:
- Raven Guard Tactical Squad - Rhino - 185
- Raven Guard Tactical Squad - Rhino - 185

Elites:
- Mor Deythan Strike Squad - 4x Sniper Rifles, Shade (Artificer Armour, Sniper Rifle) - 170

Fast Attack:
- Dark Fury Assault Squad - 175

Exodus joins the Mor Deythans and the praetor joins the dark furys.

from my understanding you need 1 non HQ option from each legion as well.

So I should probably make one of the tactical squads alpha legion? I was hesitant to do this as I believe (though I would be very pleased if I have to be corrected on this matter) that they don't get their legionaries astartes buffs unless my warlord is alpha legion (which of course exodus can't be).

Also you can't take Exodus in a Mor Deythan Squad as his rules specifically mention he is only allowed to join Legion Seeker Squads and Headhunter Squads.

Just in case its not obvious, the praetor joins the lernaens and the centurion joins the dark furys.

You'd have to come up with your own fluff, as there is no real fluff establishing the Raven Guard and the Alpha Legion working together.

As for viable, what are you playing against? What are you gonna use against things with an AV if the Harrower gets singled out and killed?

Well the dark furys have furious charge and rending, but really? I'm not. I will probably be playing primarily against other 30k legion forces although I may come up against some 40k as well. I'm not too worried about having a strong 30k army as thats why I play eldar in 40k. I'm just looking for fun and fluff in 30k.
