Hey so I am buckling and buying some iron jaws and need some advise.
I bought
Megaboss
Brutes
The shaman
The boss on the dragon thing
2 boxes of black orks.... Or what ever they are called.
Now what else do I need is the 20$ book needed or should I go the big book destruction?
Also is there any other units I should pick up I got like 200$ more to spend on them.

I need to go to work every day.

You don't need either book, all the rules you'll need are free in the AoS app or online (and possibly included with the minis as well, I don't know if they're doing that for AoS). If you want a hard copy though, the Ironjawz book will give you just their unit entries but plenty of fluff and artwork purely on them, the Grand Alliance book will be much lighter on fluff and pics but have rules for everything Orc, Ogre and Goblin in the game, good if you want to expand into the other areas of the Grand Alliance.
As for models, again if you want to stay purely within the Ironjawz then the logical suggestion is some Gore Gruntaz to round out the army with some fast cavalry. On the other hand, throwing in some Ogres or Goblins would give you some units that play very differently to the Ironjawz and give the army a much broader variety in both aesthetic and gaming terms.

Get another Maw Krusha! Grumpy dragons are awesome :-) Also I would recommend getting the Battletome. MongooseMatt has done a great review of it, and it seems like a must buy if you're into the Ironjawz. You get a set of Battleplans to play games with too.

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-) |

I like the idea of another Mawkrusha too
The Ironjawz book is great reading, I loved it.

"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"
I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness. ADB |
