I'm trying to see how this list looks to others. I'm not quite sure how to setup Yarrick's blob or if there is a better army list to make a guard assault blob out with.

Imperial Armour Vol 1v2 has the armoured battle group list. It doesn't require a wingman it's just a solo bs4 tank with a few benefits.
Mainly you can get a coaxial stubber for your tank giving you quasi twinlinked. If a stubber round hits your main turret can reroll to hit.
The vanquisher can buy special rounds one of them being beast hunter shells for 15pts
This makes your vanquisher Fire a str8ap2 small blast with monster hunter and Insta death special rules (which Insta kills MC like riptides or d3 wounds to GC with no fnp)
The command tank also has different tank orders such as ignore cover, and a quasi jink ability when assaulted it forces your opponent to reroll successful hits.

The armored fist squads are not obj secured but I didn't waste points on a platoon command squad either.
The vet squad in the fast taurox with grenadiers armour with the lone vox and melta are meant to run straight at your opponent and get within 18in so all the artillery becomes twinlinked and be in melta range. The artillery has nearly unfailable orders that ignore cover.
The platoon command squad can sit on the home obj and fire it's bs4 lascannon while yarick takes his ld10 obj secured blob for a stroll.
11 autocannons with twin linkage and lots of str8-9 ap3 or better artillery and tons of ignore cover orders or monster/tankhunter.

The biggest issue this list has is assault lists but guard have no good answer to that. I can tarpit something with the essentially fearless Yarrick blob, but 31 models won't last very long and Yarrick won't be able to handle any decent assault units alone. The other issues are heavy av13+ spam lists since str7 tankhunter autocannons isn't reliable and 2+ armor spam lists because a small blast vanquisher with lascannon, a melta squad, a solo bs4 lascannon and engineer/Yarrick's ap2 melee is all I got other then high rate of fire with autocannons, lasguns, and a twinlinked punisher cannon.
