So I want to start a new army for Death, and I always like the idea of blood knights... except for the model price, which is horrendous!
So, i'm looking for any ideas for other box sets I could use for my blood dragons, and hell, even a vampire lord! Any help would be appreciated!

Hi tiger9gamer, I agree the blood knights are expensive, a good alternative is using the dragon princes from the high elves set and paint them red. They are very regal and with the dragon motif can look very vampire like with a little paint job. If you have spare skulls from other undead set you can also decorate their mounts with it!
That is the cheapest I can think of right now, hope that helps!

Thanks! I was eyeing it up for a while too, I just wanted a second oppinion. I bought the vamire heads from puppets war too so I dont have to deal with those dumb helmets.
Now, what is a good way to make a vampire lord on a horse?

I went with the alternate head on the Dark Emissary by studio mcvey. It fits in with warhammer models, though I would use a different base than the one they supply to make him not too large. I'll post a painted version of mine soon in the standard VC colors.

Oh wow that is super metal. I would jump on that in a heartbeat... If I didn't have to use only GW models as I play at my local Gw.
Honestly I was thinking of maybe the empire general? I don't know how I would make him work though.
