I recently picked up Yarrick and I'm having a lot of trouble deciding on a unit to join. Guard blob? I imagine not chimera vets since they just want to shoot stuff. Maybe bullgryns in a chimera? He's just so squishy on his own even with the resurrection.

If you want to stay pure guard : a blob of 30 with priests, joined primaris psyckers and maybeeeeee a single Inquisitor with rad grenades.
Otherwise go nuts with allied space wolves and librarians.
Note: he is not a powerhouse CC character. he will fold to pretty much any dedicated CC monster. But he can kill things dead and be there afterwards.

Throw him in a unit of conscripts for a massive tarpit, a blob squad if you want to utilize his orders for shooting or a unit of bullgrin if you want to beat some face.
