Hi, all. I was just wondering if any of you would know if it would be okay to use the 30th anniversary SM as as CSM as they would probably have got their hands on it at some point. Anyway, what do you think. Thanks in advance

It isn't ok from a rules standpoint, so you'd have to ask your opponent if they minded. Personally I would allow it, especially if the model had been nicely converted.
I painted mine up as a generic renegade so he can be in my Horus Heresy games too. It would be churlish, IMO, to complain about it being used by Chaos forces.
The model? Sure. Chaos has bolters and powerfists IIRC.
The rules? That’s a bit fuzzier. I’m going to lean towards “no” as e really is set up as a loyalist/Ultramarine. But if you and your friends allow chaos to take other loyalist things, might as well. But that’s firmly in the realm of houserules. I’d suspect that even casual tournaments would frown upon cross-codex unit swiping like this.
