Just trying to make a basic 1500 list for more casual games.

What do you guys think of this?

Lots of high quality shooting with lots of bodies on the field. Ap2 and Ap3 with an extremely tough unit of vehicles.

What do you think of the weapon choices? Anything obvious that I missed?

Those plasma weapons are really nice, but I think you'll suffer some deaths from overheats on turns where you aren't BS6 or 7. That's a lot of very good shooting, as you said. Did you think about a relic for your warlord alpha? And why not an icarus array on one of your dunecrawlers? Maybe one with a neutron laser? Just curious man, looks solid to me!

With all that plasma, go Vanguard not Ranger. The weapon synergy isnt there otherwise. With the Arc either or on that, me personally would have at least one Sniper oriented squad and have that armorbane rifle in it for long range I can touch your Monsterous creatures or special characters. Also at least one dunecrawler should handle anti air at this point level and one should have a neutron laser I think.

Split up the dunecrawlers.

I'll tip my hat to you if you can paint that many infantry. These guys have a ton of detail and take some time to get looking good. It would look great on a table.

List looks good. I'd give the Omnispex to all units that can take it.

Why not split the 10x squads into the below instead?
5x Rangers Squad with 2x Plasma/Arc Rifle and
5x Rangers Squad with 1x Plasma/Arc Rifle?

I would only do 10x Rangers with 3x plasma if Alpha is the Warlord in that unit for Preffered enemy.

Also I think vanguard is better than rangers in general.

Try to squeeze in omnispex whereever you can

For Phosper Blaster I would go with Kastelan Robot Maniple with phosper upgrades instead of Onagers.
