Hi everyone,

last weekend I attended a new tournament run by Alex from the blog "From the Fang"- Double Trouble. This was a 750 pts doubles tournament where you would be paired with a random partner in each game and would face two random opponents over the three games of the day.

The missions were a mix of maelstrom points (from a modified deck) and kill points. The day was a lot of fun and provided some memorable games and partners.

The first battle report from the day is now up on my blog. You can find it at http://standwargaming.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/double-trouble-tournament-game-1.html

Each battle report is written, with plenty of photos and turn overview maps for each team. Hope you enjoy.

Game 2 is now up http://standwargaming.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/double-trouble-tournament-game-2.html

Game 3 is now up featuring an amazing looking converted Dark Eldar army. http://standwargaming.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/double-trouble-tournament-game-3.html

Great Stuff Corrm, love how detailed they are!

What program do you use for the batrep maps - is it just power point, or something like Vassal? Reminds me of the old skool batreps from White Dwarf, and I can think if no higher compliment

If in doubt, frag it out...

Cheers lapedus, that's exactly what I was going for! The maps are made using a free online program called battle chronicler http://battlechronicler.com/ . I find it quite easy to use and I think it really adds to the reports. If you like them, check out my blog, there are another 50 or so battle reports there.

Here's hoping the new monthly White Dwarf will go back to the good old days of awesome content and battle reports!
