I have built Tau, Necrons, several terrain pieces and a Daemon Prince. I have had my hands elbow deep (figuratively) in resin and managed to pull it off. Now, after building a few Eldar squads and a Wraithknight, I find myself struggling with building my three War Walkers. Specifically, the clusterf*ck right under the main body of the thing where the leg attaches, right where you'd expect the donkey-cave to be if it had one.

It seems to always keep coming off when I glue it, and I left it overnight only to find it had turned slightly before it dried, giving it an awkward pose. I try to remove dried glue when I can, but it is frustratingly difficult.

Right now, I finished 1 and three quarters of the three War Walkers (only legs remain in the partially assembled model). I am truly dreading the third and final one. At this point, I just want to get it done with as little pain as possible.

Seriously, what am I doing wrong?

I built two a little while ago but I don't really remember having any issues. If you're having glue issues, have you tried super glue or two-part epoxy?

I think I left most of the parts off mine, and propped them upside-down until that stuck.
I seem to remember assembling the rest of it in two large parts, and manoeuvring them into place after it was all solidly glued. Dry-fits are essential.
