Hi - I've been viewing the forums and galleries for the past year, thought I should finally sign up!

I collected and painted bits from GW in the early 90s then stopped but recently got hooked after buying Space Hulk 18 months ago to play with my son. Since then I've spent more than I wish to admit on paints and brushes, as well as mountains of models.

Despite having painted the SH genestealers I'm still holding off doing the terminators until I feel my painting skills are up to the job. In the meantime I've knocked together and painted small squads of Marines, Orks and Tau to play skirmish games using Infinity rules (much prefer the way Infinity plays to 40k) and started playing this against one friend, as well as X-Wing against another (losing most of these despite introducing the friends to these games, hence the name!). I also get in a few games of Zombicide with my young daughter!

Thanks to all of you that I've gained tips or stolen ideas from! Hopefully I may be able to share some in return along with my experiences of the hobby as a working dad (got to pay for the paints some how!).
