Mostly made this list to get an idea of flying b wings and to see how doable the idea is. I am undecided on the proton/plasma torpedos and the turret on Horton.
Horton Salm 36 points
Y-Wing with guidance chips, proton torpedos, extra munitions, dorsal turret, R2-D6, and deadeye
Nera Dantels 35 points
B-Wing with guidance chips, proton torpedos, extra munitions, and fire control system
I'm undecided on who to use to fill up the points, right now I am thinking of Jake Farrell but any suggestions for the third will be appreciated.
Jake Farrell 28 points
A-Wing with autothrusters, push the limit, Veteran Instincts, a-wing test pilot and chardaan refit.

You could go with a t70 blue ace with bb8 and integrated Astromech for 29 points. Not the highest PS but lots of action economy and the blue ace can dance all over and is unpredictable. Will have more health than an a wing and I don't trust green dice.

Victory is not the most important outcome. Enjoyment and excitement is the best outcome, victory is sweeter when it was fun. |

Interesting list. Horton gets essentially 'target locked' torpedoes, which is nice, and gets rerolls at range 2 with his dorsal turret.
If you wanted a bit of tactical flexibility, you could swap one torpedo to plasma (probably Horton, as his will fire first) and use the point to give Nera deadeye too - that'll let her fire a torp on the first shot)
With two ships desperately wanting to get torps away, you might consider Biggs? A worst case is something like Jumpmasters - you don't want to see either of your aces go down with torps still in the tubes....

Jake is a good choice
Although if you want to add a little more ouch to the Torps you could alway have Jan Orrs, Dorsal Turret and Wired, its not super optimal but chucking lots of red is fun and the B-Wings are clunky enough that she can keep up
I'd also be tempted to stick the Title on Horton, he has enough PS to get the benefit of it and most aces that can dodge him will not be unduly concerned about a Dorsal Turret

I was originally going to say that Nera does have deadeye, but when I went and rechecked my original post I noticed I didn't list it, but did include it into the price, what I get for copy paste Hortons loadout down to her.
Well tomorrow is game time so I ended up with this list:
Horton Salm 35 points
Y-Wing with guidance chips, plasma torpedos, extra munitions, dorsal turret, R2- D6, and deadeye.
Nera Dantels 35 points
B-Wing with guidance chips, proton torpedos, extra munitions, deadeye, and fire control system.
Kyle Kataran 30 points
Hwk-290 with Moldy Crow title, dorsal turret, recon spec, and adaptability
