Hi! I'm looking for insight into a list for my first game! All knowledge and Tactics are welcomed!

1850 Codex SM

DEMI COMPANY:
HQ: Captain- Bike,TH,Digital Weps,Artificer Armor,Strom shield
1.)Tac Squad 10man-lightning claw, MM,Flamer
*squad rides in DROP POD!
2.)Tac Squad 10man-lightning claw, MM,Flamer
*squad rides in STROM RAVEN
3.)Tac Squad 5man- Chainsword, Laz cannon
*squad sits on Objective on my side
Bike Squad 6man- x2 Melta, Power axe
Centurion Devs 3man- x3 Las, x3 hurricane Bolters, Omni

ARMORED TASK FORCE:
Predator Tank- Auto turret, Laz side sponsons
Predator Tank- Auto turret, Las side sponsons
Whirlwind tank- Storm Bolter
Techmarine- Stock

STORM WING:
Storm Raven- x4 Strike Missiles, twin Laz turret,Typhoon ML
Storm Talon- skyhammer Missiles, twin assault cannon
Storm Talon- skyhammer Missiles, twin assault cannon

Any wisdom would help to see flaws or strengths! I don't have my book on me, but it roughs between 1830-50pts.

Since you're only using one Demi Company, have you looked at the Medusa Strike Force from Angels of Death? It will improve your FNP and provide the vehicles Power of the Machine Spirit. You can also look into using the Gorgon's Chain your captain.

In any case, look into putting the techmarine on a bike. He can keep pace better with the vehicles.

Las Cannon Centurions are probably okay, but Grav Cannon Centurions are so much more worth it.

Lightning claws on the tac squads are not very effective. They don't really want to get into melee. It would be better to give the sergeants combi-meltas. Also, mixing multimeltas and flamers isn't great. It would help to consolidate similar types of weapons, like MM and melta, especially for the squad that sits in the Storm Raven. They can only combat squad into a dedicated vehicle. It would probably be better to use only 5 man squads, though.

For the Storm Talons, Typhoon Missile Launchers are going to be more effective against other flyers and hive tyrants.

For the Storm talons I would keep one that mid strength Skyhammer but the other needs to be killer.

I'll look into switching the Tac Squads Weapons, and for the Storm Talons wouldn't it be better to leave as is? Seeing how most people don't bring fliers! Yes Nid players, but the majority don't! Also the fact they would come in on turn 2 all together would be more than enough to handle anything else! I just hate the expensive cost lol!
