Me and a couple friends are putting together a map-based campaign to play so our games of 40k have more of a narrative element. That said, I'm taking lead on the map and such, and was wondering if anyone had some advice on where to find tools or programs to make maps for a campaign?
I'd prefer to be able to get a topographical style map that I can separate into sections. I found a hex based map generator, but I don't particularly like the hex map style, looking for something that would more closely resemble the campaign maps from Dawn of War's expansions.
