Hello everyone.

So I have heard numerous reviews and comments saying how for base coating the models, they are simply just using a spray can from Army Painter.

I wanted to ask, as I currently Prime grey and then apply black paint for my basecoat, would just using the Army Painter black basecoat spray be enough or would you still need to basecoat with the black paint?.

Thank you.

In my experience with them you will have to go over them with black. It may depend on how complete the model is before you spray them, for example if you are spraying marines with all parts glued on you are going to find that there will be areas that you have missed. Also the black spray they do drys like Citadel black.
