What do people like to run in that formation? In an 1850 list there isnt much room for anything but the scorpion and either blood slaughterers (which I love and have kit bashed three) and/or mauler fiends. Maybe add some tendrils or make one a grinder or drake. Hmmmm. Seems fun no matter what though!

Multiple Maulerfiends with lasher tendrils are mandatory. You don't have any ways to deal with massive assault units like IKs, WKs, or Thunderwolves (who are are very capable to smashing your Daemon Engines in before you even get to swing). Reducing all of their attacks by 2 per Maulerfiend give you options (also you have a gajillion S10 ap2 attacks, you don't need the extra meltabomb hit)

Now that the faq says that non kdk units still get BFTBG! I'm going to give blood slaughterers a go.
My 1850:
3* blood slaughterers with impalers
3* maulers 2 lasher tendrils
Baledrake
Grinder with phlegm

I would have a similar lineup maybe even 2 turkeys
