That is a lot of smurfs!
You've got a very good tabletop painting quality and it would be fantastic to play against an army fully painted to this standard.

Nice army! Solid work overall. One thing that struck me is the sternguard. Hard to tell them apart from the regular guys.

Thank you for the feedback!
To be honest, the Sternguard are just a converted tactical squad with a lot of seals and other stuff added. I use them "count as" and nobody has ever had a problem with that since they are a lot more fancy then the normal marines even at large tournaments.

I don’t have a problem with the bits and kits side of it. After all, vets are just more experienced marines, with the same basic kit. I’m in general a big fan of rolling tac marines around in your bits box to make sternguard.
My issue is one of paint. You look like you are using white helms in some places in your army. Why not the foot power armored vets? Same with the vanguard. They have the same helmets, shoulder trim, etc as the basic guys. Only gear separates them.
It’s a little thing, and feel free to ignore me, but I think vets should have a little bit of paint to pick them out in addition to bits and gear.
YMMV.

I see what you mean. Thanks for the good tip. I painted my command squad like that and it will make the Vets stand out more. Will go over them again when I am done painting my unpainted stuff.
