I am not looking to turn this into a discussion about the evils of recasts. I am a bad man, I cut off nuns in traffic and listen to Nickleback so reading about you calling me a bad person is not going to affect me one bit. That being said, I picked up a recast of a Kingdom Death model on eBay. The price was worth the risk and I had a few extra bucks to blow. I was just curious about those of you who have done so in the past. What was the quality like. Shipping time ect?

While each person is certainly entitled to their opinion that it is morally okay to steal via copyright infringement (aka recasting without permission from the copyright holder), Dakka as a site will not be party to conversations that help promote such a concept, as we (the owners and moderators of this site) do not believe that it is morally okay to do so and therefore do not want to promote such activity...not to mention that such promotion can help to bring negative attention from the copyright holders to Dakka.

Therefore, in a general thread discussing whether or not recasting is morally okay, anyone is free to share their opinions, but in a thread like this (talking about specific site known for recasting), it is irrelevant how good or bad their customer service is. The fact is, they are doing something illegal and therefore is not something that should be condoned on Dakka.

locking thread now...

We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
