Bit of a stretch for a suit of Artificer Armour (power armour sized would be correct).

I'd ask your opponent, but I'd say no. It says nowhere about how big the AI is, but you're making model's footprint and size MASSIVE as a result. It's not Dreadnought big - more like very ornate artificer armour sized. From a gameplay perspective, I'd decline.
