I've just finished reading the main rules and phase 1 and I'm feeling pretty good about getting into this game in a big way (despite the typos; they really should invest a bit more in proofreading. lol), it looks really good and 10mm is definitely a more practical scale than 28mm for sizable battles. I'm beginning to stock it and looking to eventually stock the whole range. For my own force I'm leaning heavily towards the Resistance and my son wants to go for the PHR.

Now's a good time to get into the game with Reconquest 2 because I think there's just enough variety now to really have interesting matches. Before there wasn't much one could do to fill slots and points to mix things up.

With reconquest 2 they added a lot of variants, more variants than completely new things, but that's what the game needed. All the new weapons strapped to different chassis help fill points or fill a slot with something useful.
