Hey all, I'm just wondering if the Start Collecting! Skeleton Horde has the full kit for the Mortarchs or just the components for Arkhan. The blurb on the GW site only mentions Arkhan but I was really hoping to build Mannfred instead. Figured it'd be nicer to pay 5 bucks and get some Skellies and Black Knights on top of the Mortarch.

Yes, I just built Mannfred with the Start Collecting! Skeleton Horde.

So it's the full kit.

They don't pull stuff out of multi-kits unless it specifically is able to be done.

So yes, you can build any of the Mortarchs.

Yeah, that's what I thought. The new Stormcloud Attack things or whatever they're called came with just the older Ork and Space Marine flyers. I know the newer ones were just an added sprue, but it still seemed a bit odd for them not to include the full thing. Likewise, I didn't know how the Mortarch sprues were arranged. I thought that if they were separate parts they might have gotten rid of the bitz for the other 2.

Glad to know that isn't the case though!

It's the full set and I'll be planning on doing a guide on how to magnetise them to make any of the 3 mortarchs soon. I just got the same set a little while ago.

The reason the new Stormcloud Attack things likely include the "old" flyer variants is that, as you mentioned, the newer ones are just an additional sprue. They don't want you to be able to get the new version cheaper.
