Digging out old seraphon army. What to add? Want to be competitive and still have fun. Currently have engine of the gods but suppose that could be run as any stegadon setup, bastiladon the ark of sotek, 21 skinks with boltsplitters and moonstone clubs and a skink scarpriest. Anyway what could I add to this old army of mine to make it competitive and give it some punch? Many thanks guys.

You have a nice base right there. I would suggest taking a look at the Start Collecting box for a big scary boss-monster, some fast moving Knights (althoug your skinks already move pretty fast) and some tough Warriors.

Want to play a balanced Age of Sigmar?

The Age of Sigmar Project Points Cost!

Yeah thanks for that. Makes sense as the start collecting box set is the same price as carnosaur model on its own and the start collecting set has that plus other models. Don't know why anyone would buy the carnosaur set on its own instead of buying the start collecting box set for the same price and get so much more.

Definitely don't expect to get many miles out of those extra units, though. The Knights are probably the "weakest" unit in the list, and the Saurus Warriors quickly get replaced by Saurus Guard in more competitive play.

That said, if you want to build with what you have, Lord Kroak can be a pretty fun choice if fielded with an Astrolith Banner and your Engine of the Gods. There's definitely some cheeky mortal wounds they'll be putting out, along with some random, but fun Engine shenanigans.

I'd also say on the list of Seraphon must haves are some of the supports like the simple, Celestial Rites AOE Skink Starpriest, Old Blood on Carnosaur, and plenty of Chameleon Skinks.

Yeah definitely want a carnosaur. Shame it doesn't come with better models in the get started pack as I think the Knights also look weak and the warriors are good but I wanted to get some guard which would make the Warriors pointless.
