I am designing an army with a Skitarri primary detachment, a Cult Mechanicus allied detachment, and a Knight Errant as a final ally for a total of 2000 points. I need help for this army list or if this site may bless me, a full army list. Pretty much any combo of units is fine, as long as it has that one knight errant (and only one, money's rare these days). For the end goal, I want it to be a War Convocation formation as 2000 points. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

No matter what it will be an expensive army. I would recommend a second Knight for a war convocation as it is one of your cheaper options for war convocation. Plasma is always fun on Vanguard and Rangers. I would take Grav Destroyers for the 2 Cult Mechanicus troops. I mean other than that if money is the issue I would pick a different army.

A war convocation isn't going to be cheap moneywise by any standards.

If you want a war convocation the units are basically selected for you.
