I'm in a bit of a tough spot with this game. I bought it on the 360, which they're no longer going to do releases for. I was given a PS4 as a surprise Christmas present this year. I have to move to current generation, but this means either buying an Xbox one or swapping over to PS4 and losing everything I've gathered up to this point. Neither is very appealing to be honest.

What would you guys do?

Move on to better games?

If you don't care about losing the PS4, trade it in/return it and pay the difference for an Xbone. Problem solved.

Play a game with far better story as suggested or trade it in for a Xbox One.

If you enjoy Destiny enough to want to play the Rise of Iron that comes out in September or play Destiny 2 when it releases in 2017 you'll have to upgrade your console so you might as well do that now. If you don't want to have to start over with the playstation then swap the PS4 for an Xbox1. If you like playing Destiny the way it is now but don't carry about new content you can continue to play on the 360. Bungie won't release any new content for legacy consoles but you can still play everything up to TTK.

Sell your PS4, buy an XBOX/Windows 10 Gaming PC, have fun. Don't play Destiny.
