Wanting to start an IG army, but I wanted to go for something more ramshackle and irregular-looking than the normal model line. Any advice on good, relatively cheap infantry models to mix in, or alternate tank kits to build from?

They aren't all that Ramshackle but they are unique and cheap, so chopping them up for kitbashing is less problematic than proper GW kits.


Kromlech makes some neat accessories that could dress up guardsmen to make them more ramshackle.

You can buy ton of Chaos Cultists, swap their heads, weapons, add some equipment and saw off the chaos bits.
