The Librarian starts with the thunderfire cannon.
The rhino is good for blocking line of sight, grabbing objectives, hiding the warlord in, or tank shocking. But perhaps those 35 points can be better used for upgrades somewhere?

White Scars tactics because they're awesome. There's nothing like watching the enemy cross the board and assault the thunderfire cannon only to have it slip from their grasp.

Librarian rides with Grav bikers....
Can run this list as a pure CAD or as CAD (Lib, bikes + 1st scouts) with Stormbringer Formation (2nd scouts + Landspeeder). The advantage of the formation is survivability + even more mobility but the second storm loses objective secured --> benefits outweigh in my opinion.

Bikes aren't troops unless you have a biker CAPTAIN, so Stormbringer isn't an option. That said, let's think about it. You're essentially trading a thunderfire for a bike squad.

You can:
Get your librarian into the assault.
Shoot grav.

I can:
Ignore cover.
Hide my attack bikes in the assault.

So now I'm wondering... what's in your meta that isn't in mine? Because you have grav and a dedicated assault HQ while I have ignore cover.

I think you're right to give the librarian a bike. It gives him the ability to use that force sword. I should probably drop the Rhino next time for that. And how about those last 15 points?

Mounted Assault Rule in 7th edition - any HQ on a bike makes bikes troops, you are thinking of 6th
