I really like this army and I'm the only person I know of that's used the endless grimoire so I'm curious to see how you used it. I'm surprised you didn't maul that brass scorpion with all your exaulted guys. Did you just roll awful?
Sorry for the late reply, I don't log in dakka often enough!
@Endless Grimoire: I used the Endless grimoire guy as my Warlord for
ATC, but the Paradox guy could do the same. The original plan was to get the Boon of something spell ( 4 on Tzeench) and spam the Flamers on Chariots, so having a guaranteed 2 of these spells ( Fatey auto has it too ) is great. It's also a second Strength D shot that you can usually combine with prescience and perfect timing from other heralds in the unit some games.
Lately I've been playing the list with the Fateweaver as my Warlord. I haven't played enough games with it yet to know for sure if I like it. The Tzeench warlord traits are really strong and they remove a lot of pressure from Fatey, so you dont have to auto-grimoire or invis it to keep him safe. I'm also contemplating playing a straight incursion army with 9 units of Screamers and dropping the
CAD all together and keeping only the Exalted Reward herald and Paradox Herald.
What are your thoughts on the endless grimoire warlord?
@Daemons' game: The Brass Scorpion spent the game either with a 3+ save or invis, which mitigates a lot of what the Dickworms do to it. I was somewhat unlucky in one turn that really turned the tide of the game, but it was a really fun game nontheless. I really feel like ignoring it and tarpitting it forever is the best approach. Forever or until you have wrecked the Grimoire or the Belakor.
