Hey guys,

Just after a little advice and a "what would you do" question.

I have a game planned tonight 2k pts of Legion (using Rex book) vs 2k pts 40k Admech War convercation.

I have decided to go for mobility and numbers but unsure how to take out the knight.

1 preator
1 forge master with conversion beamer

2 dreadnaught (lascannon and plasma cannon

2x 10 man tactical squad with bolters and rhinos
1x 10 man tactical squad with chainswords and rhino
1x 10 man tactical squad with chainswords and LR

Squad leaders have power fists, power weapons or combi bolters.

Sicaran with lascannon
Landraider
3x Thallax cohort

It is a random list I know but so far it's all I have in my collection that I can currently use.

Which legion are you using for this list?

I play space wolves which ATM don't have any traits :( so just using the crusade army red book.

I might get chewed for saying this, but depending on the rest of his force your best bet might be to try tarpit it and hope that the sarges can meltabomb/fist the git.

As while it's dead killy, if the person is taking a single knight they may be hoping to use it as a DISTRACTION CARNIFEX, so keep your main dakka on the rest of his force, focusing on his scoring units and anything silly enough to be caught outside of cover.

EDIT - War conv and fun game don't reconcile very well in a pure 40k environment, never mind the fact you're using 30k SM's.

Well that went well lol.

My LR and 10 man squad died before my turn. My dreads did well popping destroyers before being haywired to death.

The Sicran did very well, pretty much killed anything it shot at. Would have been better off using as many orc boyz as I could find lol.
