Sometimes, defeat proves to be even more entairnting than victory. Do you remember the time when you suffered your funniest defeat ever? If yes' do share it!

I'm personnally concerned because of my lastest battle of Bolt Action as Germany. Even if it was only 500 point sized, i did try the artillery observer...

The mission was hold until relieved and the objectif a central bridge. After a hard firefight around it, i decided i had to immediatly take action for fear i might get wiped out, running out of soldiers since the foe was hiding in good covers. As a consequence, i called a bombardment which meant to be decisive and soon raged down on... my guys ( italian crew gaaah! ). It did reveal to be a desicive blow, however not quite in the fashion i expected it to. To this point onwards started a desperate fight for surviving against the US counter attack which despite of all my efforts, ended with my total annihilation! As my comrade said "your forward observer served me well. But now i don't need him anymore so bye bye''!

Though this game resulted in me getting bashed, it hadn't been without putting a fierce, brave and amusing fight up!

So whats yours? ( being of course more interesting than pine )

My Germans, facing a British armoured platoon of 2 Matilda II's and two Churchill VII's with m Stug III G, Hetzer, and a captured universal Carrier and a platoon with a Panzershrek and two 10 man Panzerfaust sections and a flamer.....
Total British casualties: one Matilda II knocked out and one Matilda II immobilised right on top of the objective by Panzerfausts.
Total German casualties: everything, baring the Stug.

Free from GW's tyranny and the hobby is looking better for it
