I love the idea of Land Speeders and have done since Dawn of War Dark Crusade, anyway, I decided to play around on battlescribe to come up with a Land Speeder Army and came up with the following.

Astral Claws - Fast Skimmers get 'scout', hell to the yes.

Captain w/ Cataphractii Terminator Armour + 2x Lightning Claws + meltabomb + digital weapons (to lord over the battlefield)

Scout Squad (bolters + meltabomb) w/ Land Speeder Storm + Assault Cannon
Scout Squad (bolters + meltabomb) w/ Land Speeder Storm + Assault Cannon

Land Speeders x3 w/ 2x Multi-Meltas
Land Speeders x3 w/ Typhoon Missile Launcher + Heavy Bolter
Land Speeders x3 w/ Assault Cannons + Heavy Bolter

Constructive criticism and thoughts wanted!

There are a number of formations out there that use speeders. I might look into some of those. The main problem I see is the large (3 speeder) squadrons. Each one can only shoot one thing a turn. And more then 2 I find they get in each other’s way.

Rather then a CTDA captain, I might go with a bike. More thematic with the fast moving force.

But it looks like a fun list for a casual meta.
