So I have about 40 black orcs, and I just picked up the general's handbook today....there are no point costs listed for black orcs! What the heck!

I do some research and apparently black orcs are "ardboys" now, but Black Orcs are pretty much objectively better in every way.

Can I not play black orcs in matched play? What do you guys think? Very disappointed that this is my first experience with Age of Sigmar

As is the case with other old miniatures getting new warscrolls (in this case Black Orcs to Ardboys) the old warscroll will lose their points and can't be used officially in Matched play. So if you are not interested in Open Play and don't want them to be Ardboys you are out of luck unfortunately.

If your group is open for non-official points I can provide you with a proper cost for them as the PPC comp and Handbook are extremely similar. Just send me a PM if so.
