A truly futile but necessary question, why are centigors monsters of chaos and not part of brayherd or warherd? (They should be part of brayherd)

I'd say it is a decision based on the fact that they lack more specific in-game keywords to fit in other more appropriate sections. They also lack the monster keyword, but GW may have decided that the Monsters of Chaos section would be the go to place for such models. Otherwise, I can't think of anything in the lore that would leave them out of the herds.

Hopefully when the Beastmen battletome is written it will include Centigors.

Because they were never considered beastmen, by either themselves or the beastmen.

They had their own tribes and only tend to join out with the beastherds when the bray-shamans called.

They never observe the rituals of the Bray-herds, nor do they really care. I mean hell they used to sign their attendance to the runestone by defecating upon it rather then scribing their runes to it.
