									Having only the T-65 and T-70 from the 2 core sets, i'm trying to figure out a relatively competitive but mainly fun rebel list to work with /loan to learners as I work on expanding my non-imperial collection.

  An obvious buy would seem to be Rebel Aces which would allow me to field :

  ==============
  1st Rebel Aces
  ==============

  99 points
  ------

  Keyan Farlander (33)
  B-Wing (29), Advanced Sensors (3), Rage (1)

  Poe Dameron (PS8 Version) (38)
  T-70 X-Wing (31), R2-D2 (4), Push the Limit (3)

  Jake Farrell (28)
  A-Wing (24), A-Wing Test Pilot (0), Chardaan Refit (-2), Push the Limit (3), Outmaneuver (3)

  ------
  It surprises me that I haven't seen a raging Keyan before. Advanced sensors, rage, reveal green then spend a stress on attack (lather, rinse, repeat ) seems like too potent a combination to miss. Poe and Jake seem like pretty standard combinations. ..

  Thoughts?

									You're in that hole of PS where none of your pilots are high enough to handle a proper Aces list and you're spending points for a PS much higher than you need to outmanoeuvre most generics.

  Farlander will work, but it will make you predictable, as the B only has 4 greens and 2 are straight, and at PS7 will get eaten alive by any number of regularly seen pilots.

  That said, if you're adamant to only work with cards you've got, none of those load outs is horrible by any means.

									I suppose I could go with a ghost/dash buy instead of rebel aces, but I'm trying to set up a strong Rebel list/options with minimal additional purchasing... and set myself for strong opinions with my next purchase(s)...

  The real question is what's the best buy after the 2 core sets? I was thinking that rebel aces gave the best flexibility. But I could be very wrong

									If you have a Slave 1 in your collection, then you have Veteran Instincts. Those will give you the Poe of your dreams and a very punchy Jake Farrell. Give him Proton Rockets (in the Rebel Aces pack) and you have something that hits really hard. That build is possible by the savings you make on Poe's PTL and Jake's Outmanoeuvre.

									BB-8 + PTL is kinda nice too as an alternative to R2-D2 since you can get three actions without stress per turn.

  Rebel Aces definitely is a good pick up, I am doing that for my little bro since mother went out and bought a core set after I did all the work to make a cardboard squadron for Empire and Rebels....

									Indeed. If you haven't got access to R5-P9, then you can do far worse than BB-8/Push The Limit for Poe.

  A barrel roll/push/boost/clear stress gives him one hell of a 'dial' - yes, theoretically it's just the greens but with a free barrel roll and boost before you move that's incredibly flexible. Certainly it makes you next to impossible to block without a big ship - and with a T-70's slightly improved green dial over the T-65, not even then.

									Because of my extensive Imperial collection (and a couple of scum ships i grabbed for the cards) I'm pretty sure I have the EPTs and mods (and systems) that I would need...

  So, after the 2 core sets, what's your first rebel buy. I'm leaning hard towards aces, but I could go for dash instead

									What's your favourite play style?

  It's very rare to get the same action economy for the same price on Rebel ships, too, so that is not a road easily traveled.

									Here is one I built for my buddy to practice with for a tournament. It is tons of fun and does quite well. Automatically Appended Next Post: Five ships, Keyan and the A-Wings get some work done. The Z-95's make great blockers, and if they Target Lock can be pretty accurate.
