Does anyone have any news from Gencon? Any news is good news. Please let's try to keep this from becoming a bashing tread. Thank you in advance for any infomation.

There's a thread over here, though it regularly falls short of the 'no bashing' side of things.

I haven't seen any announcements from PB about Gencon, so presumably it was their usual sales/limited edition figures. Someone in a FB group said that they were aiming for 2017 for delivery, but didn't elaborate (and obviously the skepticism is thick, but whatever, that's what they say for now).

There were some demo/beginner events listed on the Gencon events page, but no tournaments or more advanced things that I could see in said list.

Yeah, they had a booth at Gencon hawking all the typical stuff, and a coupon for 30% off on a few things. For Robotech, they had Mirya's VF-1J, male Zentraedi Gulog (Male power armor), and Breetai in armor. I want to say they had one other model, but I can't remember. None of it was new. The display case had nothing we hadn't seen before.

Now on a very interesting note, they had a table at the booth that looked horrible to play on, and they had some models on it. They gave very limited demo's on it, but off in the corner of the table was two cyclones in batteloid mode, and a pair of Invid Troopers. All were third party models, but they had stat cards and the staff refused to really talk about them, but would just smile when questioned.

As far as news for wave 2- looking for new manufacturer to address the materials and small bits, etc. etc. same old same old.

No demo tables at the booth, and there was only a couple event's in the mini's hall all week.
