If Mondays have to keep happening then they may as well have a silver lining ... Or at least a brand-new Glacial Geek Battle Report! https://youtu.be/aVkH_s0VMIw This week I take on the Necrons! When a Necron Tombworld opens up under an Imperial planet there is one recourse, everyone leaves and the Imperium calls down Exterminatus. Only one problem, evacuating an entire planet takes time. Much more time than the Necrons seem willing to give. So the Dark Angels are dispatched to hold off the tide of Living Metal in hopes that they can buy enough precious minutes to successfully evacuate the loyal citizens from their world. Will the Sons of the Lion be able to hold off the xenos threat long enough, or will the Necons be simply inconvenienced in their assault on the planet? Watch and find out!

A Protoss colony world

That batrep just showcased how nearly indestructible the Necron Decurion really is. Looked like you played it smart by going for objectives in the late part of the game, but bad luck kind of spoiled your chances. I've been there. It was still a fun game to watch, and I'm looking forward to more batreps!

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

Thanks! Yeah, I always have trouble with Necrons ... I've had a fair amount of success against Eldar, against Tau, but Necrons always give me trouble ... But I'll get them one of these days ;-)
