I'mn due into a double tournament 2000 points per side, 1000 points per person, and my list is due in by Sunday

I'm used to playing 3k upwards, so limiting to 1K is a big ask for me as there's too many things I want to take, or my usual "go-to's" are taking up the majority of the 1k!

I have 16K of blood angels/Marine and 4k of orks to play with.

currently contemplating:
- a bike list with sanguinary priest if running BA,
- 2 land raiders full of death company with minimal troops/HQ also if running BA
- white scars bike list, with BA sang piest and 2 units of scouts as allies
- not sure on the orks yet as not played them yet

any idea on what works at 1k?

Blood Angels in drop pods may be a safe bet. White Scars bikers would be effective.

the pairing is completely at random - the final if you ge that far, is against your partner!

What's your ally bringing? I used to play 1250 Doubles with a SM friend and he would bring the toys, and I would bring a metric ton of Ork Boyz. It was great fun until we went up against Necrons then Grey Knights. The GK player also tried to convince me that I didn't get 4 attacks on the charge with Boyz, but that's another story.
