So most of the factions are getting back into the game , Duardins , Ogres, orcs, death and chaos armies but we still have not see anything new for the Aelves beside the Alarielle and I would nt consider her much of an elf.

From the Warhammerquest silver tower game we can see 2 new awesome Aelf models : mistweaver Saih and the Tenebrael shard. to me they kind of look like a merge between high and dark elves. Anyone have a bit of a hint as to what is coming up for this interesting faction?

Given that they are still trying to beat most of their souls out of Slaanesh, we may see some Shadow Aelfs or some strange shadow creatures that were following Morathi.

I used to play Dark Elves way back in 5th edition WHFB (my first army ever) and for a time was curious about High Elves (the fact they were at that point in time just better in every way than Dark Elves was a factor too). I am genuinely hopeful for the new Aelves in the future to see what they bring. Hopefully soon. I imagine it's because the army is getting a reimagining/revamp that's not just a rebox like a lot of the other factions.

If they were some kind of High Elf/Dark Elf hybrid army with some parts of both (good infantry, shooting and cav, monsters like Dark Elves?) that would be VERY tempting for me to pick up. However not if they focus on Witch Elves whom I never was a big fan of (I liked Corsairs and Cold One Knights) but the current Scourge Privateers I'm not that fond of either. TO be honest, I have zero idea about the Aelves fluff in AoS. They are unified right? Are they good guys then? I think it'd be interesting to have a dual faction that can be good or evil depending, with units that have both keywords or something, but can work together as a unified Aelf army. Not that I think that will happen, but would be interesting I think.

The whole capture of Slaanesh is told in past tense. The Aelves have long since been freed from Slaanesh and are primarily living in Azyr, Ulgu, and Hysh. The ones in Azyr represent those elves who continued the traditions of the Old World Elves, those in Ulgu we know are the Shadowkin and so far nothing on those in Hysh.

So I take it that the Ulgu shadowkin is what relates the most to the silver tower heroes. The mistweaver and the Tenebrael shard. If GW makes an army set with the same theme that those 2 have , it would be fantastic !

I'm hoping they expand more on the Order Draconis, Wanderers and the aelf knights in the Azyrheim Lancehost.

They all have great potential since they have background tidbits that they operated amidst the realms while chaos still had total control and were there fighting to retake the realms when Azyrheim finally went on the offensive.
