Hello! With the long-term demise of Warseer now fairly secure, I thought I'd get back on the forum wagon with a DakkaDakka account. I've been known as Gen.Steiner on Portent.net and Warseer.com for ... a long time. I'd gone quiet over the last few years (intermittently updating my blog, theweekswork.blogspot.co.uk) but recently have been engaged in a mad painting spree and have started playing games of 40K again. So I thought I may as well come back to the world of forums.

I mostly play Imperial armies, with the following fully painted forces:

Imperial Guard (company command and infantry platoon in Chimeras, infantry platoon in Tauroxes, a Leman Russ tank troop, two Hydras, two Demolishers, two Griffons, a Sentinel company, a Hellhound, Valkyrie with a Stormtrooper squad, Armoured Fist veteran squad in Chimera, various optional abhumans and other units etc)

Sisters of Battle (Living Saint, Canoness and command squad in Immolator, Celestians in Rhino, two squads in Rhinos, Dominions in Immolator, Seraphim, various extras)

Righteous Fists Space Marines (full Demi-Company in Rhinos with support elements from 1st, 8th, and 10th companies)

Black Templars Space Marines (two ten-man Crusader squads, ten-man Assault squad, Sword Brethren Assault Terminator Squad, jump pack Chaplain, Castellan and command squad, Emperor's Champion, Dreadnought)

Inquisitors, Ecclesiarchy, and Various - does what it sez on the tin!

I also have the following in the works:

Ultramarines force - Captain, veteran squad, two tactical squads, Techmarine, half-Devastator squad, razorbacks and rhinos

Red Hunters force - Terminator Chaplain, terminators, two five-man tac squads in Razorbacks, one five-man Devastator squad in Razorback

And plans for the following:

Lamenters strike force (lots of Drop Pods!)

Grey Knights strike force

Deathwing/Ravenwing attack force - probably from a successor chapter rather than the full on Dark Angels... not sure yet.

Deathwatch Kill-Teams

Skitarii of the Legio Titanicus Astra Argentum

Adeptus Arbites force

PDF platoon

Redemptionists

Eventually I hope to have an Army of the Imperium that represents everything from the Hammer of the Emperor to the most elite of the Astartes, from Redemptionists and local militias to PDF forces and Arbites enforcement teams.

But probably not one that has things like super-heavies and Titans and stuff. They're not really my cup of tea; I play 4th or 5th Edition mostly.

Greetings!

Welcome to Dakka

Well I'll be, if it isn't Gen.Steiner.

I realise that I'm a little late here, but it's good to see you my friend. I look forward to serving with you once more, good sir!
