This may seem very simple to many players but with Eldar Jetbikes, do you measure their weapon from the gun or the base? I am asking this because the models are on flying bases typically (however I put them onto normal Terminator sized bases for practical reasons).

Also, when my opponent fires at my bikes, do they measure to my base or the bike itself? Similarly when my opponent fires blast templates, does it hit the models or bases?

Thank you for answering such a simply thing but it is quite important in tournament games.
