Playing against a friend and his Imperial Guard list this week. He generally plays a small group of heavy tanks that he parks in the back and boatload of light vehicles packed with guardsmen to run around and cap objectives with.

Tactics
Skyhammer:
The plan is to pop two of his Leman Russ's with the devastator squads on turn 1 and charge transport vehicles or any unembarked troops with the assault squads. Worst case scenario, I don't kill the Russ's and have to charge them and use the Melta bombs.
Librarius Conclave:
-Roll on Fulmination with ML2 and hope for Electrodisplacement or Magnetokinesis. Swap w/ Bikes turn 1 if it gets me in charge range, or move a surviving Devastator squad to safety on turn 2.
-Roll on Fulmination again w/ ML2 if I don't get above powers. If Librarian 1 gets them, roll on Telepathy for invisibility or Technomancy to help w/ remaining vehicles.
-Roll on Divination with ML1 and make him the designated Prescience bitch.
Core/Ordance:
-Try to land drop pods within ObSec distance. Run around with Bike squad toward any contested objectives. Hope to pop any light vehicles nearby with Plasma guns.
-Park Dev-Cents in reinforced cover with Thunderfire Cannon and shoot at any other vehicles or hope to get lucky against any enemy flyers. Shoot disembarked troops with Thunderfire Cannon after popping transports.
Concerns
-He has three flyers (Some combination of Valkyries/Vendetta) and I don't have much to counter them. Would sticking ML's with Flakk in the Tactical squads be worthwhile? They don't appear to be great at first glance, but I have no experience using them. I unfortunately don't have any Hunters, Stalkers, or Flyers of my own to bring.
-The Shield Eternal may not be worth the points on my Chaplain since he's only got two wounds and is T5 with the bike. Perhaps it would be better to replace it with two more bike marines or an Attack bike + Multi-melta.
-I'm not getting much out of the superior bolter drill rule from the Sternhammer formation. 1st Company task force filled with Sternguard would certainly get more benefit than the Skyhammer.
