Hi all,
I want to start working on a new 30k army and I'm going for World Eaters. I already have a 30k Iron Hands army (my first try at 30k), but I'm not happy with those. The playstyle didn't suit me very well. I'm more close combat orientated, so I think the World Eaters would be cool. I really like the assault marines with the jump packs, but if they're too much in the list, I'm open for suggestions and feedback on what I should change.

I have some tanks from my Iron Hands that I could maybe use, but I like the Caestus Assault Ram alot and I want this army to be really infantry orientated with some heavy support.

I already have access to:

- Spartan Assault Tank
- Landraider Proteus
- 2x Legion Sicaran battle Tank
- Legion Sicaran Venator
- Knight from the Imperial Knights: Renegade (not assembled)

I haven't done all the upgrades some units could get, so the list is at 2590pt.

The cadre weapons tend to be quite situational and I often find them to be underwhelming, especially since in most cases a power weapon is cheaper and will be more consistent. I would also suggest artificer armour on the sergeants and the rampager champion.

Yes you can. The most recent faq adds the carapace weapons as options for the paladins and gallants as well as giving questoris knights acess to the warden,gallant and crusader.

Good to see some transport love for the Butchers. Will Kharn be joining them?

I like the Assault Ram as well, though I don't have one for my WE. Would you be able to increase the squad size in the Rampagers by dropping their jump packs and the Knight, upping the squad size and mounting them in the Ram? Minimum squad size with this unit seems like wasted points is all.
