Subject: Mutant Year Zero: Genlab Alpha tabletop RPG mega podcast review
Hi all! Brian from the Critical Twits here. Our latest episode is an extra long, super in-depth review of Modiphius/Free League's tabletop RPGGenlab Alpha, a spin-off-cum-expansion to their Mutant Year Zero line.
For those not in the know, Genlab Alpha casts the players as animal/human hybrids (think Biker Mice From Mars or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) who are striving to escape the misleadingly-named Paradise Valley and overthrow the sinsiter, robotic Watchers who are keeping them prisoner. We've got a wide variety of experience on the podcast, from someone undertaking their very first tabletop RPG campaign to a DM with nearly fifteen years experience, and everything in between, so I hope we provide a good run-through of the game. I've massively enjoyed it so far so I'm really glad to be able to share it with you.
As ever, all feedback welcomed, and thanks for checking out this thread!
