I know how to check on Army-Builder, so really my question there is - is anybody working on AoS for it?

As for Battlescribe my data-file seems to only update 40K, are there data-files for AoS and if yes, how can I get them?

Thanks!

It wouldn't really offer anything Scrollbuilder.com doesn't, combined with the AoS App which is free anyway.

Yes there are but they are not complete yet.
You can find it by Googling "Age of Sigmar Battlescribe".

No app if free if you don't already own a device it can run on.
If you don't have one it costs $100 or more depending on what you buy.

Does scrollbuilder use the same exact points as the general handbook?

There are some 5-man minimum squads that only give groupings of 10's on scrollbuilder and I'm not sure but the points seem off?

By that logic, you'd best add the cost of pencils and paper to all your other list-building needs. ;-) I totally get your point, but frankly, any phone made in the last ten years can run a web-browser of some kind, and the AoS app.

And to the original poster's question, yes, Scrollbuilder.com uses the exact same points as the Handbook, and now even tallies up your required slots like battle-line, etc.

So $5-10 dollars a year for something I use for other things and have anyway?
Not really a good cost comparison since phones are 10 to 60 times more than that depending on what model you buy.

Nope, the Android App "Requires Android 4.1 and up" which came out in July 2012 so only a phone made (or updated to 4.1) in the last four years can run it.
Anything browser based on older phones will need javascript which usually makes a page become unusably slow for this purpose (pen and paper is faster) on an old phone in my experience.

Fair enough. But the vast majority of people who can enjoy our hobby, and afford it, are very likely to be among the population of the Earth that own a device that can run those things.

I'm not agreeing/disagreeing, as i'm one of those folks who likes to sit at a desktop and use Battlescribe as well, just saying that its a bit smarmy to make it sound like compatible devices are ones only the 1%'ers have. :-p

I know plenty of people locally who play these kinds of games who don't have one for some reason or another.
Some can't afford it because the game consumes too much of their budget to get a new phone they don't need for any other reason.
Others don't even have smartphones because they don't like them.

I never said anything about "the 1%'ers" so I have no idea where that came from.
The insult was unnecessary.

You have a ridiculous argument. You can get a phone on craigslist for like $25 that can run the app. If you said the DATA PLAN is to expensive then maybe. But even then you can get a phone for free with prepaid unlimited data for like $10 so you are being ridiculous for the sake of being ridiculous.

I do have a smart phone for the record --- but still I MUCH prefer to do this stuff on my computer. I can't stand reading pdfs etc on my phone.

The new Kill Team ebook for example is only on EPub this time so I can only view on my phone and I hate it! ...it used to be Mobi.

Check out a free ebook reader called "Azardi". Someone suggested it to me in News/Rumors, and its the one piece of software that perfectly allows me to read GW digital stuff on my desktop. :-)
