Bounding Black Templar Assault Marine

These are supposed to be a couple of tweaks to give the army some more flavour, to represent a Guard force who were trapped on a planet that had a huge plague zombie outbreak. Just wanted to hear opinions on the point costs or wording of the rules, or if you have other suggestions that would be cool.

Veteran doctrine - You gotta shoot 'em in the head!........ 20 pts

The veteran squad has had to endure months fighting their way out of one hoard of zombies, only to be overrun again at their next position. They've become experts at getting themselves out of tight situations and have adapted the standard issue shotgun rounds to better tear through flesh.

All models in the unit have the hit and run special rule. Furthermore, all models armed with shotguns use flesh- tearer rounds with the following profile:

Weapon.....................................Range..........S............AP............Type

Flesh- tearer rounds...................12".............3..............-..............Assault 2, Shred

Sergeant Connolly.......................... 25 pts

Connolly is a giant of man, so much so he was suspected to be a mutant when he was born. Surviving imperial authorities, he entered the Imperial Guard and excelled. Quickly rising through the ranks, Connolly became a figure a legend, lugging heavy weapons around like they were lasguns. His resilience and bravery matched only by his figure, leading his troops from the front and was always found were the fighting was thickest. His bravery lead him to be infected by the zombie plague, being bitten by the undead whilst covering his mens retreat. Left for dead, he was later discovered when the position was retaken. Unlike all his other comrades, who had risen from the dead, Connolly was found alive but the virus had changed him. His skin became the colour of death, everyone complained of a rotten smell when he entered the room and his loud, raucous jokes could no longer be heard over the canteen. Instead, Connolly only spoke when spoken too, obeying orders with a quiet grunt, his eyes never quite focusing on who was speaking to him. In combat, he continued to lead from the front, but his battlecries were replaced with a silent march into the hail of bullets, unflinching even when hit. His presence, once inspiring, now worried many of his fellow guardsmen, as well as agents of Ordo Sepulturum, who are keeping a close eye on him....
