I'm building a Deathwatch army with parts of the Death Masque set and bits I collected. I ask you guys for some help with making kill teams.

- Around 1000-2000 point.
- How to equip them.
- Combining infantry with terminators and HQ.
- I expect to play against hard-hitting and competitive armies.
- And as much formations as possible. The army is quite dependable on formations. No problem with taking doubles and extras.

When adding allies I'll use my Space Wolves or Mechanicus.

imho, if you are taking SW as ally, you don't need to worry much about close combat, so you can just concentrate on shooting, i.e. loading as many of your guys with Frag Cannons as possible. However, you may also need your guys to survive the return fire and charges until your SW TWC comes to bail their buddy out, So maybe equip some Storm Shields and Watch Master and Terminator with TH/SS for their 2+ and 2+/3++, as well as Librarian fishing for Invisibility / Veil of Time.

If your DW is going on their own, also take a Blackshield with LC and PF, as well as a Vanguard with HTH. You will need them to break out of combat.

For your fourth point, just don't go up against hard hitting enemies on DW alone. I don't see the pure DW stand any good chance against competitive Xeno army. They are too expensive compare to top tier xeno units, and too slow after they arrive on board, and T4 with 3+/2+ are very fragile in current environment. Just think about this, 2 WK costs 590 points, for around 600 points, you have 2 Aqulia kill teams each with 4 Frag Cannon and a Lvl 2Librarian, are you confident that with psychic attacks (e.g Psychic shierk) and 16 S9 AP2 rerolling 1s to wound, would reliably bring down one of the two T8 5++/5+++ 6W and Ld10 monster? How long will your kill team survive against 60 S6 shots from 36inch away, How many Psychic powers your DW Libbies can ensure goes off when you face 15 or more deny dices from the Jetseers? Generally speaking, when taking DW in competitive games, maybe just use asingle unit of them as a suicide unit or distraction Carnifex. Drop in, use 8 shots S9 to kill something, and if survive to next turn, great. If not, at least your opponent has one less unit shooting / attacking your TWC or Cataphron Destoryers.
