Recently, over the last couple weeks I have noticed that when I am browsing Dakka it seems unusually unresponsive sometimes. As well I sometimes hear an ad being played. Usually it's about how some guy turned 2000 dollars into 500k or something to that effect. I never had audible ads before.

You should know, I am on satellite internet currently. So possibly the the two are connected, Dakka freezes up while the annoying audio ad is buffering?

Anyone else experiencing something similar?

Never heard it. All ads I see on Dakka are wargaming related. Maybe your computer is haunted*?
To exorcise your computer, check here: https://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-random-audio-ads-virus/. One of those programs should usually be enough. Malwarebytes has always worked for me.





*Haunted by malware, that is.
