This will be a relatively fluffy list. I typically play Night Lords, but I do have a Calth box just knocking around waiting for my start into BA's.

I would love to have a terminator orientated list and I think BA's are the way to go.

My first stumbling block is what RoW makes sense?

Pride of the legion to make terminators troop choices I imagine?

Or Orbital Assault to allow them to deep strike?

That really makes a difference on the composition.

Beyond that I think I will get some Heavy Support in the form of a *Baal Legion Predator Squadron. Imagine Iliastus assault cannons on the pintle, main armament and sponsons!? That's an infantry murder machine right there!

A vet tac squad with nuncio or even scout squad to guide in my deep strike!

So many possibilities, but were to start!? Feeling overwhelmed with options.

Pintle mounted assault cannons make me laugh. that predator squad is brutal.

while BA can be funny with all the AC, I think DG make for a better terminator list.

With terminator squads in the HQ (Deathshroud as both an HQ slot and as a body guard), Heavy Support (Grave Warden), and Elite (regular termies AND Deathshroud) slots, we can really make an orbital assault list really mean (not to mention just generic terminator lists). Not to mention being immune to fear and getting an FNP against poison and fleshbane (suddenly, phosphex is slightly less terrifying). Add onto the fact that (apparently) DG had some of the highest numbers of Cataphractii armour, it makes sense, assuming you weren't married to the BA idea.

OH! and they are battle bro's with Night Lords.

Frankly I have no idea how to model a pintle mounted AC!

Also is that setup actually viable on the pred's? Some good terminator/infantry hunting. However does the squadron have to shoot the same target? Otherwise I'd probably reduce the list by a pred at a minimum.

Then with the Venator taking on any scary tanks when needed.

Unfortunately Brennomjw I'm totally tied down to the BA's on this one. Never been great at modelling Nurgle theme's and I've already ordered the bits for my BA's upgrades via the Shapeways Cata shoulder pads. Which are not crazy cheap. Appreciate the battle bro's note though!
