Hey guys,

I'm an old school blood angel player and want to get into 30k. I read the stickey but I need help finding the rules for my army. Which books do I need outside of a 40k rule book? And the bigger question is where can I get them? I would prefer to find an epub if I guess "the red book" and book 6 retribution. Does this exist? If I download from black library can I just open it up on my iPad?

If you have the Core rules for 40k and just want to run the Blood Angels you will only need the Age of Darkness Legions rule book, http://www.blacklibrary.com/horus-heresy/hh-cod-sup/age-of-darkness-army-list-tablet.html and Book 6, unfortunately for you, Book 6 doesn't have a download version just the hard copy.


Book 6 will also have the rules for the Dark Angels and the White Scars, unfortunately its just rules for them (and the Blood Angels) no special units or Primarchs. WHAT DO I NEED TO START?

- A regular 40k Rulebook, dice, tape measures and templates.
- The Red Book or HH Book which contains your army list. All these books will contain the relevant Force Organisation info.
- If you want to play a campaign, any of the HH Books.

- Blood Angels - additional Legion rules in Book Six: Retribution

Assault marines with jump packs will be big. Find a source of 3rd party jump packs.

I'm outfitting my death company with MK IV heads and jump packs.

Trying to minimize my new purchases, so far 3 javelins and 2 dreadnought drop pods (which can also be used for my Death Guard)
