The above shows the artwork for the designs of all 5 of the KODT miniatures. The miniatures are provided unpainted in spincast [trollforged] resin. The miniatures will require light clean up and some assembly (although all the KODT miniatures should be no more than attaching a head to a body and all the add-on miniatures should be one piece). The miniatures will normally be 30mm tall to the top of the figurine's head. As stated the miniatures in your reward will be unpainted but we had Sara as Zayre sculpted, molded, cast and painted just to give you a picture of what one of the miniatures will look like when completed.

I've always been very happy with Impacts KS projects and most have delivered on time (although one of the recent ones had significant delays due to ill health in the family of one of the owners, but they did their best to keep things going out when they could, but hopefully that has now passed), anyhow I'm backing and hope Chibi lovers amongst you will too

80% Funded in first 24 hours. Thank you backers

First day we reached 80.5% of the funding goal to make the KODT chibi miniatures.

This puts us in a great place for the remaining 15 days. 99.49% of all projects that reach 80.5% of their goal are successful on KickStarter since it went into business* so while we still definitely need to reach get that last 19.5% ... we had a great first day to build on to get there.

The best way we can reach that goal is if you can take a moment to share the project today if you have not done so on your Facebook page, or give a tweet about the business, or throw out a mention of it on Reddit. We have news announcements submitted to the major gaming sites to make sure we reach the funding goal as quickly as possible. To make this as easy as possible ... you can share KODT writer Jolly Blackburn's post from here if you'd like to help spread the news to help us fund ( https://www.facebook.com/jolly.blackburn/posts/10206331150512235 ).

So what happens after we fund? Currently there are 6 planned stretch goals for extra miniatures (4 from KODT Illustrated) and we'll discuss them more after we fund. The good news is that each one will only need around $500 to $600 extra to be added as an option for the KickStarter so the stretch goal increments will not be large.

Life/Score Counter added to KickStarter as a new add-on item

Have Sara, Dave, Bob, Brian, B.A. or your favorite chibi or fantasy miniature stand guard over your life or score with this dial counter with numbering from 1 to 40. The counter will work great for games like Magic the Gathering, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Smash-Up or many others. The counter is offered on the KickStarter at a reduced price from expected retail and even with an option to get it painted (which will not be offered after this KickStarter).

The counter is designed to fit any base tab miniature to customize it to your favorite miniature.

The unpainted counter is only $9 and you can add on to your pledge $24 to get one painted in the colors you specify.

Note: the counter does not come with Sara miniature ... shown with Sara just so you can see how you can customize the counter.

I am making some major progress on the Gazebo that was requested and hope to have an announcement for it soon!

An incredible last 24 hours ... we broke through Stretch Goal #2 in less than a day!

And because you demanded it! A Gazebo miniature has been added to the KickStarter!

(many thanks to Juan for helping quickly sculpt this for me). One of the most iconic "monsters" the Untouchable Trio ever faced (http://www.kodtweb.com/2011/05/20/lair-of-the-gazebo-3/). You can now include this foul beast in your reward, by adding $20 on to your pledge. The Gazebo will be approximately 3 inches wide and 4 inches tall. The Gazebo Mimic comes with an extra normal wall if you want an option to make it a normal Gazebo as well (and depending on how you build it ... maybe switch between the two as you game) If you want just a normal Gazebo without the monster wall, you can just add-on $15 to your reward.

Stretch Goal #3 - $7,075 - Another KODT Illustrated miniature will be unlocked and added to the KickStarter

Vote below on this update as to which should unlock. Human Fighter El Ravager or Dwarf Thief Knuckles. Figure with the most votes will unlock when we reach $7,075.

I thought that instead of other minis of the players in character, we would get some minis of the players? I kind of want a set of the players in their street garb. I wanted to use Brian when I needed a lawyer and B.A. When. Needed a villain that could do just about anything.

@BTO ... so unlike my past chibi projects where I had a lot of flexibility in what to create ... this one has rules attached due to the license I was able to obtain. Saying that I want to be clear ... Kenzer & Co are great to work with (so no complaints there). I was informed that the characters in street garb is a license that is not currently available. It was the focus on the KODT Illustrated angle that allowed me to get the license to make the miniatures. So apologies that I cannot offer the figures you wanted.

Stretch Goal #3 reached! Knuckles unlocked! Stretch Goal #4 at $7,500

Last night we reached $7.075 and unlocked the Knuckles figure to be included in the list of add-on miniatures. Thank you backers!

Was so happy to see us reach this goal with a week to goal that I contacted the sculptor and am having him sculpt an optional peg leg for Knuckles left leg if you wish to put in together with that look.

Our next stretch goal is at $7,500 and will unlock El Ravager as an add-on miniature. In addition, we will unlock a new set of 5 of Zayre, Telfon Billy, Knuckles, El Ravager and B.A. as Wise Monk will be able to be selected for any reward level offering a KODT set of 5 instead of the players as their characters (or allowing a mix of the 2 sets if you have a reward level with more than one KODT set). Finally we will unlock a set of the 4 unlocked Stretch Goal miniatures will be offered as a $19 add-on.

I had a question about the GaryCon Road Trip pledge reward level. I wanted to confirm that if you back for that level you will be able to use the $175 in items to get any mix of offered add-on items being offered in the KickStarter (including the Gazebo Mimic, Gazebo and the Life Counter)

El Ravager unlocked! Full KODT Illustrated sets now available. Stretch Goal #5

We've reached $7,500 and unlocked Stretch Goal #4. El Ravager is now unlocked as an add-on miniature.

In addition, we unlocked the option to take either the KODT characters dressed as their characters OR a set of Untouchable Trio + 1 with B.A. Monk as your set of 5 miniatures. (if you pledged for more than one set, you can mix and match the two different options). You can also pick either the original or the new sets as part of the GaryCon Road Trip reward.

We also unlocked a set of just the Untouchable Trio + 1 if you have pledged for the original set of 5 and want to add these 4 unlocked characters to your reward (or as part of the GaryCon Road Trip)

Stretch Goal #5 - $9,900 - we will add on one free $5 miniature to any reward level of $24 of more.

A quick note on the Stretch Goal being $2,400 away ... originally the plan was for the Gazebo to be Stretch Goal #5 at $8,100 and the Life Counter was Stretch Goal #6 at $8,700. In an effort to offer some extras to help get the 9 licensed figures made, I decided to offer these items not as stretch goals and pay for them if we feel short from the original funding goals for them. So Stretch Goal #7 was going to be the extra free miniature for just another $1,200. The reason it is $2,400 away is because we are covering the original ground for the Gazebo and the Life Counter. Just wanted to explain!

We are entering the final 3 days of the KickStarter. Thank you for all your support. If you can help us reach stretch goal #5 for everyone that would be awesome. Share the project on Facebook, Twitter and forums. If we reach Stretch Goal #5, you the great backers will have shown a solid demand for the miniatures and I've been talking to Jolly Blackburn about doing a similar project for the Black Hand in the future if this project was a success. If we reach Stretch Goal #5, I would definitely consider this project a success so help us reach it!
